Wood furniture should be stained or dyed while staining will not only beautify the wood but protect it as well from extreme weather conditions.
When trying to spruce up a bed you could choose to paint or stain the frame, head post and footboards. Purchasing a new mattress will also help revitalize ur bedroom. On the other hand, a sofa will usually require the use of a professional upholster. This can be expensive but generally not as high as the purchase of a brand new one.
