These homemade Valentine's Day cards are the perfect way to send an "I love you" through the mail to grandparents, siblings, or special friends. It's a perfect way to spend a few minutes together and provides those lucky recipients with something to brighten their day. The best part about the project is you really don't need to be crafty or artsy to produce something to be cherished. It may require a trip to the local craft store if you don't have a few supplies but easily done under $10.

Materials used: excess Christmas red wrapping paper, card stock, foam & felt stickers, sharpie, and glitter glue

Time: approximately 30 minutes

Difficulty: easy

The card stock provides the actual card, then you can use the stickers, glitter glue, and even cut out heart shapes with the leftover wrapping paper to glue around the card to create a design. Once the initial design is created, let your little ones add their unique touch with the supplies. The result is a handmade and very thoughtful Valentine's card.
