Valentine's Day is a special day to celebrate with the romantic love in your life, but also your other loved ones, including your kids. One of the most enjoyable and thoughtful ways a parent can celebrate Valentine's Day with the kids is to prepare a special Valentine's Day breakfast. Show your kids your love by preparing one of these special Valentine's Day breakfasts this year.

Heart Shaped Pancakes. A classic Valentine's Day breakfast for kids would be heart shaped pancakes. If you have a heart shaped mold or ring creating these cute pancakes for Valentine's Day breakfast is easy. If you don't have a heart shaped mold or ring, you can use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut the heart shapes out of your pancakes after you cook them.

Raspberry Muffins. Using your favorite blueberry muffin recipe as a base, substitute the blueberries for bright red raspberries. If you want to make this lovely red Valentine's Day breakfast for kids extra special, take the time to mold some pats of butter into heart shapes to serve along with the red-dotted Valentine muffins.

Red and Pink Cereal. This Valentine's Day Breakfast for kids will take a little time on your part, but the look on your child's face will be worth it. Take a few fruit flavored breakfast cereals (Fruit Loops, Tricks, Fruity Pebbles) and pick out only the red and pink pieces from the cereal. You can supplement the cereal with Apple Jacks that are all pink already to make the task a little easier. To make this pink and red Valentine's Day breakfast even more special, get some strawberry syrup for your milk to make pink milk as well.

Yogurt and Strawberries. This special Valentine's Day breakfast for kids couldn't be easier. Just buy some beautiful pink yogurt (strawberry works well) and place it in a bowl. Slice some strawberries over top the yogurt. You can even add some raspberries if you choose. This easy pink and red breakfast is perfect for a Valentine's Day meal.

Valentine Oatmeal. Even oatmeal can be made into a special Valentine's Day breakfast for kids. Just prepare your usual oatmeal. Then instead of adding cinnamon, dot the oatmeal with red hot cinnamon candies. The pretty red, heart shaped candies will melt slightly in the oatmeal adding a tasty cinnamon zip and a beautiful Valentine look. This Valentine's Day breakfast is festive and still healthy.

Enjoy this Valentine's Day with your kids by preparing a special Valentine's Day breakfast. A little planning is all it takes to create any of these yummy and fun Valentine's Day breakfasts for kids.

LOL, Tricks (!) Love these ideas, incidentally ~ yogurt and strawberry parfaits are a favorite here, I'll have to remember that for Valentine's Day.

Hate it when I find a typo the moment a piece is published! I do know that it is "Trix" and not "Tricks"!
