Easy Ways to Fundraise Through the Internet

If you run or are involved in a non-profit organization you know that one of the most important aspects of running that organization is funding. You probably know about many of the normal ways to fundraise such as raffles, dinners, auctions, etc. What you may not know about are some of the ways that the internet has opened up.

With all the time people spend searching the internet, don't you wish there was some way help your organization with it? Well now there is with Goodsearch.com. At Goodsearch.com each search can raise a penny for your organization! Goodsearch.com donates 50% of their proceeds from advertising to non-profit organizations.

On their home page run a search for your organization where it says "Who do you Goodsearch for?" If your non-profit organization is not listed, there is a very simple process to register. Once registered let all your supporters know! This is a perfect way for your supporters to help just by doing something they normally do.

Some of the details as a non-profit fundraiser you may want to realize is that the twelve-month period in which to accrue money runs September to September. If by September 30 your organization has not accrued $20, they will not receive a check that year. If your organization has achieved $20 or more a check will be mailed out in December.

iGive.com

iGive.com is a way to let your supporters raise money for your non-profit while shopping! iGive.com is a huge collection of stores (the Mall) that donate a percentage of your purchases to your chosen non-profit organization. So sign your organization up, tell your supporters, and happy shopping! Once donations add up to $25 your organization will receive a check.

Countrysupply.com

Countrysupply.com has added a way for horse lovers to help horse organizations close to their hearts. Sign up your horse organization and pick a code for people to use. Keep it simple like the name or initials of your organization. When someone enters in the code at checkout Country Supply will donate 5% of an order to the organization. Make sure to pass the code on to all of your supporters. Once donations have amounted to $50 your organization will receive a check.

Cafepress.com

Now there's an easy way for your organization to have a gift shop without having to have items on hand or be responsible for shipping them. At Cafepress.com create a gift shop using photos or your logo. Each product starts with a base price. In order to make money off the gift shop, you must increase the price of the product. The difference between the base price and the mark-up is the money that your organization makes. You must select a minimum at which point they will send you a check. The lowest payout is $25. They provide tutorials and easy to follow instructions to set up your shop and products.
