Eat Your Broccoli: NFL 18 Game Season '" Fact or Fiction?

In the last four years there has been an intense debate whether the NFL and its owners will allow an 18 game season to materialize in the near future. It would seem that the future of an 18 game season may be closer to reality than once was believed to be just passing fiction. There has been much buzz around the league that the NFL outlook for an 18 game season could possible be as near as the 2012 football season.

Many die hard NFL fans view this as good news believing that the "enhanced season" will be a bright spot for the fans as it would reduce a lack luster appetite for the four game pre-season games - which have become more mundane for many NFL fans.

If the NFL owners agree to have an installed 18 game season added in 2012 it would create more money and opportunities for the NFL and their fan base. The NFL has been delving into the prospect of having two or more games played in London England - due to the fact that there is a huge NFL fan base in Europe. It may not be so far fetched to believe that there could even be the possibility of a Super Bowl played in London England; the possibilities of this in the near future are enormous indeed.

Many of the NFL players have mixed emotions on the prospect of an 18 game season, but many of the players are warming up to the idea that it would be good for the league and their fan base. The nagging question that many NFL players worry about is how an 18 game season will have an affect on their playing ability and overall health.

The end result may be that the new NFL players and seasoned veterans may need to eat their broccoli everyday - because the reality of an 18 game NFL season may not be once thought as a tale of fiction after all as this may become a fact as the 2012 NFL season may be a groundbreaking one for sure.
