Eat it Up! Chicago Restaurant Week: February 22 - 29, 2008

Christine Bude Nyholm
The First Annual Restaurant Week is being kicked off in the City of Chicago on February 22 - 29, 2008. The Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau has announced the fist annual Restaurant Week. Fine dining restaurants across the city offer savory experiences, compliments of the talented chefs of Chicago.

"Chicago Restaurant Week...eat it up!" features the culinary talents of chefs at 40 different restaurants. Participating restaurants offer three-course prix-fixe lunches for $21.95 and dinners for $31.95.

During the icy weather, a meal at one of Chicago's fine dining restaurants is a wonderful way to get out and experience a restaurant you may not eat at regularly. At a Fixe Prix meal the menu is already planned for you, so the three courses complement each other,.
