Eat Healthy with These Appliances

Finding easy ways to eat healthy doesn't have to be anything long and thought out or complicated. There are a number of ways to give your body good wholesome food inside of a few short minutes. It helps to have a couple kitchen appliances like a juicer, food processor and blender. These 3 things can make your life very easy when it comes to implementing healthy foods. Here's how.

Juicing Raw Fruits and Veggies

If you don't have a juicer you may want to think about investing the money to get one. You can get decent juicers for around $100, and they go up from there. I personally have a Jack La Lane juicer that he sells for $100. They're a great appliance to have if you want to eat healthy, and do so without a lot of cooking and preparation because juicing is quick. In a matter of minutes you have a glass full of super foods that feed the body just as quick. Within 15 minutes these raw juices will reach the cellular level and begin to work their magic. This is high quality food for high quality health.

Blending Raw Fruits and Veggies

Along with a good juicer, you might want to think about purchasing a decent blender. I have a Vita Mix, which is a superb machine, but you don't have to get that elaborate. There are some very good blenders on the market that will do just as good a job of blending as the pricey brands. Blending raw fruits and veggies is another quick and easy process that leaves you with high quality nutrition to drink.

Food Processing Dried Fruit With Nuts and Seeds

If you're prone to a sweet tooth and are looking for some good healthy substitutes, consider your favorite dried fruit combined with a favorite nut or seed in the food processor. Once this combination has been processed together, the oil from the nuts and the stickiness of the dried fruit will create a good bond for making dried fruit and nut balls. One of my own favorites in this regard is date and walnut balls. I've found that these are very satisfying dessert substitutes for traditional desserts like cake, cookies and other sweets.

Healthy Snacks

Keeping dried fruits with nuts and seeds around that you can just grab and eat is also a better option than grabbing for things like potato chips and processed snacks. There's also products like rice chips and crackers as well as different varieties of blue corn chips that you can find at your local health food store. All of these are whole grain options that are going to render more nutritional benefits than other highly processed snack options.

Hopefully these healthy suggestions are things that will fit easily into your life. Personally, I have found that juicing and blending fruit and veggie drinks gives you the most time efficient as well as nutritionally efficient ways to eat healthy. Once you find some good combinations to put together in your juicer, blender and processor, you'll be well on your way to eating healthy the easy way!

Eat well, live well, enjoy!
