Did you know that garlic is good for you? In fact it is so good for you that even medical doctors are starting to recommend it for a variety of reasons, including heart problems, stroke, cancer prevention and more! Garlic has been used for thousands of years in many different countries and cultures. Studies show that our ancestors were using garlic for food and medicinal purposes as far back as the time when Egyptian pyramids were being built.

We all know it has a very strong odor, so, you're spouse won't want to kiss you goodnight, but who cares? You'll be healthy, right?

Garlic has anti clotting abilities which helps prevent heart disease and strokes.

Ajoene, an anti oxidant found in garlic, has been shown to stop skin cancer cells from spreading.

Several studies have shown benefits of garlic in preventing, colon cancer, prostate cancer, stomach cancer and many other cancers.

The allicin in garlic has been proven to help in weight loss, lowering blood pressure and lowering of ldl and raising of hdl cholesterol.

Garlic has been shown to reduce carcinogen effects from asbestos exposure.

It is an effective anti-fungal agent for yeast infections, athletes foot and vaginitis.

Studies have shown that garlic prevents infection, respiratory illnesses and diabetes as well.

Produce more "natural killer" cells in the blood that will tackle infections and tumors

Successful trials have even shown that mouthwash containing 2.5% fresh garlic shows good antimicrobial effects.

Eat up! Put garlic on everything you eat, you never know, it might save your life! Don't worry about a little bad breath, just be sure to brush your teeth after eating it! If you absolutely can't stand the taste just pick up a bottle of Garlic supplements at your local pharmacy, they even make them in odorless form! Here's to your health!
