1. Freeze grapes and strawberries. Frozen grapes and strawberries can make a delicious snack while watching TV instead of snacking on chocolate candy. Eat summer fruits all winter long. Take a plastic baggie filled with grapes and bring them along with you to the movies and munch on them instead of the salty popcorn. Fresh fruits are healthy and can help you to lose weight.

2. Steam the cauliflower and broccoli. Wash them first. Fresh vegetables taste delicious when steamed. Add them to a pot roast, cut them and put them into a pot pie along with cut up carrots and potatoes.Eat summer fruits all winter long. Enjoy the cauliflower and broccoli raw along with a onion dip along with potato chips and a glass of wine while waiting for Thanksgiving dinner to be ready to be served with a side dish of fresh vegetables.

3. Cut up red, green and yellow apples. These are great when served on a platter of assorted hard cheeses as an appetizer at Christmas dinner or anytime. Eat summer fruits all winter long. This cheese and apple platter goes well with the fruit platter. Various platters set out on a buffet table will please fellow bridge or poker players along with pitcher of fruit punch or beer.

4. Peel the skin off apples. Slice the apples and add them to a fruit salad or dice the apple and add to oatmeal. Eat summer fruits all year long,Baked apples take a short time to prepare, and make a wonderful dessert. Serve warm with sweet cream or ice cream on top.

5. Buy Pears Hard or Ready to Eat. Allow to soften, if they are hard, by putting them into a paper bag at room temperature. They usually take a few days to ripen. Enjoy these fresh summer fruits when cut up and added to the fruit salad. Eat them alone as a healthy fruit or cut them, place them in a plastic bag and give it to the kids to eat during a long boring drive or as an afternoon snack or with their lunch at school.

Because the grapes and cherries are frozen, it takes a while to munch on them and they last a long time. Nibble on fresh fruits and vegetables in place of your chocolate urge to help you to lose weight
