Rik Rodriguez
Working with eBay affiliate tools for almost a year now has been a great adventure. At times the adventure has led to a sizable deposits into my bank account. Ah but its those other times when your websites are receiving traffic but you are only making pennies per day. Those are the days that the gurus do not talk about much.
Fortunately many companies realize that we are not all programing wizards.

The above average internet user may has attempted to make money from a website or two. Usually by placing banners text links and advertisements many will have paid their website hosting fees and had enough to go to dinner if they were lucky. Combating this trend eBay has made eBay To Go.Your can create your own specialized widgets for your websites. Its pretty simple and easy. At the moment there are 5 different versions available ,single item, multiple items, search, seller, and store. You can create an eBay To Go for multiple items (up to 10), a single item, or for a key word search. All of which can be embedded on your website by copy and pasting the generated code. The eBay to Go widgets have the capacity to also include your CJ PID for tracking and your affiliate money making pleasure. So far I have created several widgets for various websites.

I like the multiple product eBay To Go widgets. They display the type of products I am interested in selling. It allows the visitor to view the products in a slide show fashion. The box that the auctions are shown in is 350x300, so it can be placed on many different types of sites, blogs and such. The search widget seems to display to many products and they can be more difficult for visitors to view. The single product setting works great if you want to show case the same product on a page for days. There is also a setting now that allows it to search for a new product when the auction is finished or if the product sells. The seller widget displays all the items a seller has for sale like a slide show. One item after another, all of the views are mouse over so when you place your pointer over the picture it becomes larger. Of course when the visitor clicks on the auction they receive a cookie and you receive credit. Only if they buy something or sign up for eBay as a new user will you get paid.

So far the tool has come in very handy for the word press niche blogs I have been working on. The widgets fit into the posts or pages just fine. While they are not content sensitive. eBay To Go is still adding value and content to the sites. They ad a real dynamic feel to the sites they seem to almost come alive. Because listings will end and be updated in real time. Oh yes and they are making money almost everyday now. So start creating your eBay widgets and cashing those checks.
