The Twilight fans are eager for any sighting of an Eclipse clip and they are about to get one during the 2010 MTV Movie Awards on June 6, according to Gossip Cop. The 2010 MTV Movie Awards show will feature the Twilight trio in an Eclipse clip, giving fans a preview of what is to come.

According to Gossip Cop, New Moon has been nominated for five awards, so fans will undoubtedly be tuning in for a looksee and waiting with baited breath (minus the garlic) to see how their nominee does at the 2010 MTV award bash.

It is likely that the Twilight actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner will be fighting off fans as they walk the red carpet on Sunday, June 6 for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. And it is just as likely that Kristen and Robert might even be holding hands as they do, given their romantic hookup. But who will be on Taylor's arm for the big shindig?

"Eclipse" is likely not to be the opening clip shown at the MTV event, as it will draw more viewers and attendees if presented at the end of the awards show. And lets, face it, showing the Eclipse clip at the MTV event in the first place is, of course, a "Twilight" marketing effort to increase movie sells when it hits the theatres. Driving up business before a "Twilight" movie (or any other) opens is usually done one bite at a time (pun intended).

Will Eclipse Clip Spark Added Interest or Fan Dying Flame?

Is the anticipated Eclipse movie really 'all that' or is showing a clip of the anticipated Twilight flick at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards a last-ditch effort to propel the Twilight name back into prominence. Is Twilight interest dying?

New Moon is up for five awards, but does that really mean Twilight is still as hot as it was before? Will the new Twilight movie Eclipse do as well and garner next years MTV movie awards? Who knows?

Twilight's movies and television show are not 'hot' to me. I've never watched either. I hear the drawing attraction is about the relationship explored between Kristen and Robert's characters. That makes me think of a vampire television show from years ago.

The television show name eludes me...let me think...oh, yeah, I think it was called Dark Shadows. I'm guessing Twilight is a remake of that. Twilight fans are probably a lot younger than the generation that grew up on Dark Shadows; but if not, maybe one will enlighten me about differences or similarities between Dark and Twilight.

"Twilight" Eclipse Exclusive Clip: Will It Be Worth It?

Eclipse viewers at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards show will need a clip that reaches out and grabs them and those at home. Otherwise, why bother?

So what will it be? Will it be a hot kiss scene between Kristin and Robert? I hear they tip toe around each other and never come close to anything 'hot'. I kind of like that reluctance to be brash and bear all. Too much of that going on already.

But if not that, what could the clip contain that would fire up the tongues and get people in the movie theatres afterwards? It would have to be some type of conflict that leaves you hanging.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson? Robert and Taylor Lautner? Taylor and Kristen? The options are endless in the "Twilight" Eclipse clip drama for 2010 MTV Movie Award night. But I wonder more about how the Twilight show's main character, played by Robert Pattinson, differs from Barnabas of Dark Shadows.
