Lasts night's screenings will be combined with today's shows to tally the first day sales. New Moon had a $72.7 million dollar first day Friday box office. It is estimated that Eclipse will bring in about $150 million over the weekend.
This is a huge record and one that is hoped to be broken by the final Harry Potter movie, Deathly Hallows in November of this year.
So how many of you in Lexington were out at midnight and the 3am shows to be the first to talk about the movie at work this morning, that is if you weren't asleep at work this morning.
What is the verdict is Eclipse as good as the hype? Will you go and see it again this weekend? Leave a comment below
