Eclipse Script Download May Not Have Much Bite

The Twilight: Eclipse script download story has sent Twilight fanatics into a dilemma. Eclipse script downloads may not be safe, and no one has posted any details of what the script might have. Of course, the main attraction for Twilight movies isn't the script - especially since the entire story can be spoiled by reading the book. But these stories of Eclipse script downloads are a jump start to the hype for the third Twilight film - even if it isn't the finished script.

According to Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood, the Eclipse script originally belonged to Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper Hale. Somehow, he lost the copy, and a tech-savvy Twilight fan uploaded it in a .pdf file.

Of course, when reports came out that users could download the script, they may have been both cautious and excited. It sounds like the perfect setup for delivering a virus, but it appears that didn't happen. However, no one seems to have a definite link for the .pdf file, and the fans are probably debating whether to read it. But in many ways, it may not matter.

Finke alleges that the Eclipse script is only a rough draft, and not the one used during shooting. Fans could download it to get a clue of how they adapted the book, but they shouldn't worry. The first two books were adapted faithfully, so the third one should probably be the same way.

Of course, the appeal of the Twilight series isn't the dialogue, or the scripts as a whole. Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner's bodies can't be displayed on a script, and neither can make out scenes with Bella.

Since that can only be seen on the big screen, the success of Eclipse is a sure thing, no matter how many scripts are leaked. As Perez Hilton said, fans would go see the movie, even if 'each of them were handed the script personally.'

But the rumored Eclipse script download gives the fanbase something to talk about, now that New Moon has finally died down and the wait begins for the new film. With Eclipse opening in the summer, they won't have to wait long, yet even a six month wait can drag on.

Since Avatar is overtaking Twilight as the big movie obsession of the moment, Team Edward and Team Jacob have to reestablish their power soon. They have to wait until June 30 for Eclipse to do that, but they clearly want a preview sooner than that.
