Eco Electric ATV - Green Alternative Just as Good as the Traditional ATV

A lot of people consider and ATV a four wheeler strictly for playing around. What you would be surprised to learn is that there are a lot of farmers throughout the world that use ATVs almost on a daily basis. They are great to use as working assistant tools because they move around easy throughout farms and forests. This is why Bill Northrup and Philip Kurlander created the Eco Electric ATV. The following is a review of this new technologically advanced ATV that I was privileged to see first hand.

Simply heralded as the dram come true for farmers and property owners throughout the world, the Eco Electric ATV promises to make life much easier. A quick look at the ATV shows you that it has a direct drive electric motor. This motor has enough power to assist in pulling farming equipment, trailers full of hay, and to move around areas where animals normally reside. The electric motor is also quiet enough to not disturb your neighbors or animals during early/late hours of use.

You can also get excited knowing that it is guaranteed emission free because of the electric motor. Northrup believes that this is the future for ATVs. I must admit that it was clever to make it electric because farmers are all about being kind to the earth. However, it would be cooler if this was equipped with solar energy capability as well because farmers spend so much time out in the sun. They could simply flick a switch to use the motor or the panels on any given day.

I should also note that you can also use this ATV for play even though it was designed for this purpose. The makers understand people just like to have fun on a ATV and delivered a motor that has three times the torque of a SUV! This is pretty cool seeing that it only has an electric motor. Riding around on the ATV was a ton of fun and showed me that you can indeed use a different motor to achieve the same high quality results.

You really can not go wrong with a environment friendly ATV that is both quiet and does not pollute the earth. The added power and handling capabilities make it an ideal purchase for not just farmers but for ATV enthusiasts as well.
