Water containers are essential camping gear. Keeping hydrated is very important so why not use a very eco-friendly water flask. I personally like the 1 Liter flask made by Brunton. I purchase most of my green camp gear from www. Subtleconcepts.com. Here is the direct link to the flask. It costs about $14.99 which is very affordable considering it is reusable.

How many times do your hands get that big chill from being outdoors during chilly weather? For me this happens all the time even if it is rather warm out so I just love my latest camping supply purchase- a reusable Hand Warmer at a shocking $5! It heats up within 15 seconds so that is rather quick to get your paws nice and toasty. Here is where I got mine from: http://www.subtleconcepts.com/store/shopcart/?product_id=41001290&add=1
A camping trip is incomplete without some lighting. I adore the LED lighting because it is a softer light that is not harsh on the eyes in pitch darkness and those light bulbs last a long time! I prefer the 3 watt Orion LED lantern by Brunton. It is pricy $50 but it is so worth every penny. The battery life is really good and that fact that it is waterproof is nice for those unexpected night showers.

I do not know about you but I can't go camping without a backpack. I like to have something that is durable, fits on my back nice as I am a woman and have found that so many backpacks just do not fit right. My favorite find is the Mountain Smith Trillium. Let me warn you, it is pricy- runs about $170 but so worth the money just because of the way it fits my back plus it has some really cool features.

My last camp without item is a nice cooking utensils. Cooking outdoors is a challenge in itself. I do not like to make it harder without the right cooking tools. I really prefer the cooking set by Stansport. It has everything I need!
