Eco-Friendly and Fun Baby Bottles

Sarah Lipoff
Looking for an eco-friendly baby bottle? There are many to choose from in today's market, making it challenging to decide which one to try. Here are five alternatives to the regular old plastic bottle that are easy on the environment and healthy for your baby.

One of my favorites is the Kleen Kanteen line of products. Their bottles are made from recycled stainless steel and are adaptable to all ages! Avent makes attachments allowing your baby to use them and then transition to sippy cup when ready. Kleen Kanteens come in a variety of flashy colors making them fun for kids and adults!

Green to Grow makes super environmentally safe BPA (Bisphenol-A) free bottles. They are made from PES plastic (Polyethersulfone) which is a strong, durable, heat resistant plastic, and, most importantly, environmentally safe and healthy for your baby. Green to Grow is dedicated to creating the safest baby products with the environment in mind.

I found BornFree's basic glass bottles to be the best eco-friendly choice at my house. The small 5-ounce bottles are easy to clean and use, creating less concern of breakage. BornFree also creates BPA free bottles and products. Their bottles have a new vent system that helps cut down on colic - another great reason to give Bornfree's products a try!

Thinkbaby is fairly new to the baby bottle scene, but creating BPA free bottles with the environment in mind is just one of its concerns - your child's health being the first! Not only are they dedicated to creating a safe and healthy baby bottle, their shipping and packaging materials are made from recycled paper.

Green Sprouts makes adorable baby bottles that are BPA free, and are also highly dedicated to creating environmentally friendly products. Their bottles are cute, great for all stages of babies' development, and reasonably priced. Green Sprouts also makes pacifiers and teething rings!

These are just a few of the fun and eco-friendly bottles available. They range in price, but most are available to purchase online or at your local baby store. Using environmentally safe baby products are good for your baby, and the Earth too!
