Eco-Friendly Technology Adapters

ITech or IGo, Solar or Wall but Both Eco-Friendly Adapters

Robert Cooper
With the talk of 'green' in the air and the country moving toward eco-friendly alternatives ITech and IGo become two companies that are leading the push toward cutting edge energy efficiency. ITech has a new solar adapter that fits the eco-friendly category. The ITech Solar Charger 906 is a great alternative for those that have many devices, travel, and need the ability to charge on the fly. While the ITech Solar Charger can be charged by way of a USB port on any PC it can also charge by the light of the day.

One big advantage to the ITech Solar Charger is its ability to hold a charge for up to a year. Having said that, it does take quite some time to fully charge using sun light, about 22 hours. The 906 comes with many adapters sure to have the one you need for your mobile products. For a cost of around $50. Some may say the cost is not worth the trouble but having to use this ITech eco-friendly device just once in an emergency will more than pay for itself.

Some of the adapter models it provides are, LG Nokia, Samsung, and Sony. The size of this cute instrument is about 4in. x 2in. similar in size to the Iphone. The ITech solar Charger 906 also has the ability to charge a product while it is recharging. With suction cups on board it can fasten to a typical automobile dashboard and charge as you travel.

A very cool function provided on this device is the check battery status indicator button located on the back panel of the ITech solar charger. With a touch you can see how much of the battery is charged, indicated by the bright blue LED lights. The package includes several different adapters to meet all your charging needs. It will charge all mobile devices with solar power.

If solar isn't your thing you still can go green with IGo Green Technologies adapter. While it uses the customary wall plug adapter it is smart enough to know when the product is fully charged and stops pulling energy from the wall plug. The opposite is also true, the minute it determines power in the product is lost the adapter turns back on and pulls energy to charge.

The IGo Green Wall Adapter's Features and Benefits Include:

Uses 85% less standby power than a standard charger

Is compatible with most laptops and other mobile devices

No need for a voltage converter when in other countries

So whether you are the solar advocate or not with either product you can be eco-friendly and do your part to help save the world.
