Economic Stimulus Refund Coming? Buy American

How will you spend your economic stimulus refund? No matter what you purchase these days of the shelves of American stores, you need to read the label or else you could end up supporting China, Indonesia, Taiwan, or some other foreign government.

Will you go out and purchase a stereo, which was made over seas, and stimulate some foreign government? BAD idea there folks, it is the US government that needs stimulation. Spend your economic stimulus refund wisely and buy American.

How about you purchase a shirt or a pair of jeans with that economic stimulus refund which will soon be coming in the mail. You had better read the label or you just maybe unknowingly be stimulating some foreign government when it is our own economy that needs a kick in the pants. I bought a shirt in a huge nationwide chain the other week, and my daughter read the tag made in Indonesia is what it said how is that stimulating the American economy?

All I can think of now is some poor little child struggling to sew my shirt for less then a penny. It will take him or her no doubt hundreds of shirts, such as mine to earn a meager few cents a day, and the shirt cost 9.95 off the shelf. Trouble is I love this cotton colored tag less t-shirts and have several in different colors, how many children made my clothes in Indonesia? Is the economic stimulus refund benefiting that child for her hard work or her government because it sure the heck is not benefiting our government.

How about a nice IPod or laptop, that on first thought is an excellent idea to use your economic stimulus refund upon, but did you know the metal in those items along with special metal in all of our technology is mined by children over in the Congo? Children who are sometimes the soul supporters of their families, and are forced to get this metal out of a hold deep in the ground where many die.

I am thinking what the heck can I use my money for that is not going to stimulate some foreign government and for the life of me, I cannot think of anything. How about you do you have any ideas on how to spend your economic stimulus refund so that it is not supporting some foreign government?
