Ed Begley Jr. Has a Meltdown on Fox News
Ed Begley Jr. is also a bit of an environmental scold, as the clip of his confrontation with Fox Business News host Stuart Varney when Varney tried to get him to explain the hacked emails which reveal the Great Climate Change Hoax. Ed Begley Jr's reaction to the Great Climate Change Hoax was indeed typical of the true believer who, when confronted with facts, decides to ignore them.
Ed Begley Jr. used some fairly classic rhetorical tricks to try to obfuscate what has been called the greatest scandal in modern science. The first was to chant "peer reviewed journals" until he was blue in the face, trying to drown out the persistent questioning by Stuart Varney, who seemed increasingly frustrated at Ed Begley Jr. insistence on not answering them.
The problem was, of course, that one of the revelations of the hacked e-mails was that data that tended to cast doubt on human caused global warming has been suppressed and even deleted, in effect sent down the cybernetic version of the memory hole, before they even got to peer reviewed journals. There was also apparently a conspiracy to try to make sure that global warming skeptics would not get published.
Next Ed Begley Jr. started to shout very loud and accuse Stuart Varney of, in effect, being and environmental enemy of the people for wanting to buy incandescent light bulbs and not have the government crawl into every aspect of his life. This was a way to shift the focus of attention away from the real issue, the science fraud being perpetuated in the name of global warming, and to the host, who was obviously a conservative and not very green friendly.
With the Climate Change Hoax now revealed for what it is, President Obama has responded with for him rapid decisiveness. President Obama has decided to go to Copenhagen after all for the Climate Change Conference with promises that the United States will cripple its own economy to counter a crisis that has not only been proven not to exist, but is the result of systematic fraud. The reason is that the issue of climate change has never been about the environment, but rather about using a made up crisis in order to impose government control over more and more of the lives of ordinary people.
In a way the Great Climate Change Hoax was very clever. At the risk of violating Godwin's Law, one can only recall how Adolf Hitler used to Reichstag Fire to clamp down on German society. The Reichstag Fire was alleged to have been set by a Dutch Communist, but many historians suggest that the Nazis themselves were involved, the idea being to create a pretext for suppressing civil liberties.
The Climate Change Hoax is sort of like the Reichstag Fire, but far more subtle. All the government has to do is to get scientists to sound the alarm about global warming or climate change and claim that human industrial activity is involved in exchange for appointments, grant money, and recognition. Ethical scientists who point out that the science is not settled are vilified as "deniers" or in the pay of big corporations. All the while the made up crisis is used as a pretext to exert more and more government control on economic activity and almost every other aspect of human existence.
Now the secret is out. That's why Ed Begley Jr. is agitated and Barack Obama is suddenly in a hurry to get to Copenhagen. Legislation like Cap and Trade has to be jammed through before too many people become aware of the con being perpetrated and therefore it being too late.

The more you read the hacked e-mails of these pseudo-scientists the closer you get to the realization that the ruse is up. These guys are trying to attack the American economy with their hoax as witnessed by "Big Ears" making a mad dash to Copenhagen after he sai d he was not joining the Climate change idiots. These scientists(lol) have no concept of climatological evolution.

These same scientists threatened my job as a scientist with the US Geological Survey because I attempted to publish a study showing with higher confidence that global temperature changes were completely natural caused solely by Earth's physical processes.
Additionally, these same scientists would not even discuss or refute the science and facts presented. Instead, they took two days to personally attacked me and my family.
I always knew that when man-made global climate change was showed to be insignificant that people would lose faith, note the word "FAITH", in science. But this event and exposure is way worse for the science community as a whole. Remember: "Truth is the daughter of Time (Francis Bacon)".
Several USGS scientists got fired for the same thing when discussing data manipulation for models developed for the Nevada Nuclear Test Site.
