Mount Vintage Plantation has three 9-hole courses, the Independent, Vintage and Chester that are open to the public. The course is located less than eight miles from Edgewood in North Augusta. Tom Jackson designed the golf course that opened in 2000. The course winds through tall trees and glimmering streams. The championship course offers each golfer a challenge. There is a clubhouse with a grille, athletic center and equestrian complex. Baymont Inn & Suites is less than 12 miles from the golf course.

South Edisto Golf Course is a public golf course with 18 holes and a par 72 and 5.514 yards. The course is less than 15 miles from Edgefield in Ridge Spring. H.D. Wyman designed the course that has a 100 slope rating and a 65.3 course rating. The course opened in 1976 with Bermuda grass and challenging greens and fairways. There is a golf professional on-site and a clubhouse. Fairfield Inn and Suites is less than 15 miles from the golf course.
