Education and What it Should Mean
Or What it Means to Me
My education, a top priority
In the way, nothing can be
All the hours it takes me each and every week
To get my homework done, I will forever seek
For I've bettered the person I have come to be
Why stop now when the future, I finally do see
It is full and bright, wondrously sunlit days
The trail lit, the path I finally see in its ways
To being the better mother and person tomorrow
Even filled with all of life's heartaches and sorrow
A lesson I shall always take with me
For the outcome, I make I shall see
A future I've only dreamed about
Now right here, seeing my turnout
