Nerdy Wordy is my favorite of the educational games for children 8 and up. This game is a thinking word game played by two players that has their own individual compact boards. The premise of the game is to form words vertically and horizontally from letters that are called out aloud.Players receive points for words formed. Available at a retail price of $14.95, Nerdy Wordy also makes a great travel game.
