Every April in Austin a special event happens which is called Eeyore's Birthday, all the free spirits in and around the Austin, Texas area gather for a day of fun filled events and entertainment for the whole family. Eeyore's Birthday is held i Pease Park in the downtown Austin, Texas area, the park itself is sucked into a timewarp which travels back to the 70's for the afternoon. With entertainment for adults and kids alike Eeyore's Birthday is growing every year in size and fun.

Drum Circles are a huge part of every Eeyore's Birthday party in Austin and if you have never been to a drum circle, then Eeyore's Birthday is a good pf a place to start as any. A drum circle can include any number of people gathering together with handmade African percussion instruments like the Djembe or Congo drum, all other sorta of man made makeshift instruments are used and are welcomed to any drum circle. Food and beer is bought with tickets that you can buy near the entrance of Pease Park. Food wise only the best local organic farmers and food developers show up at Eeyore's Birthday to give you a taste of the freshness that is Austin's local organic foods.

Kids have plenty to do at every Eeyore's Birthday bash, this is one event your kids will never want to leave. Pease Park is flowing with hundreds of other kids and the park itself holds a decent sized play pen area. Along with the play are the park host a face painting booth, kids game area and even a visit from Eeyore the donkey himself which kids and pet and play with. Every year Eeyore's grows in size so if you have kids and plan on visiting the party this year make sur eyou do your part and watch your kids carefully as you enjoy the party yourself, local officers are around but you have to do your part.
