Egg in a Basket
Thinking of an egg in a basket,
The egg soft and runny,
The basket browned and crunchy,
A little butter makes it munchy,
Use a circular glass,
To cut out the hole in the middle,
The bread will look like an eclipse,
As I languidly bring the meal to my lips,
Listening to it fry in the pan,
A spatula to help my plan,
Pineapple a side dish,
Coming true is my breakfast wish,
The aroma wafts through my place,
Like a chef I don't lose my place,
The egg in a basket is starting to brown,
So I flip it upside down,
I feel like a cook,
Who added the recipe to her book,
My creation will be so good,
The aroma will wake up the neighborhood!
