Eggs!
A Year of Poems: Day Two Hundred and Thirteen
Breakfast time on Sunday
And hubby loves his eggs
Until a few years ago
To me they were truly the dregs!
And hubby loves his eggs
Until a few years ago

I cooked them for the kids
Made omelets for them too
But for all the years I did this
I never had a chew!
Then one day it happened
I made them their favorite treat
A Western Omelet to their delight
That they challenged me to eat!
So now I love an omelet
Or a will done egg scrambled
I even like egg salad
And I can't believe I even gambled!

Post a CommentEggs are one of my favorite foods. They just don't last at my place. There are so many ways to prepare them.
For the best eggs, mix in a bit of green ham grease. If the kids will eat them, you have won a major victory in cooking.
