Cairo's central Tahrir Square is brimming with thousands of protesters demanding Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak to resign. What makes mattes worse, it is like a ticking time bomb with staples like bread and water running out.
Now the protests are spreading far and wide in nations that literally surround Israel. Nations like Yemen have tens of thousands of protesters demanding the Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh to resign. The protests in Egypt have had a ripple effect and now protests are as far as North Africa to far Middle Eastern Nations. They include Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Lebanon, and even Jordan although Jordan's protesters are primarily supporting the Egyptians.
As to where this ends and to which point this powder keg spreads, only time will tell. It is not a good situation to be in and for Israel; the world may have just become a little more dangerous. Psalm 122:6-9 and elsewhere, we are told to, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.' For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, 'Peace be within you.' For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity." Amen. Please join me in praying for this peace.

Thanks for sharing ♥ What a lot of turbulence in the world
What an important article. The national security of Israel really is in jeopardy whenever the governments of the neighboring nations significantly change, and this is because a change of politics really can mean that unsavory groups that would otherwise be more in the background could gain more power suddenly and unexpectedly. What a potentially life changing event, and a critical time to be alive to report about it. You truly are making history my friend.
Right with you, my friend. I tremble for America as we tend more and more to distance ourself from Israel. Your prayer bears the words so greatly needed to day. But, of course, this is the nature of your heart. Love you brother.
Many Muslim countries are very young, with over half of their people under 25, like Egypt. The new generation isn't beholding to the "old guard"; it will be interesting to see what course they choose. I remain cautiously optimistic!
