Eight (8) Great Reasons to Wear Gorgeous Black Pearls

Make a Classic Statement About Your Timeless Style with Black Pearl Accessories

Pearls come in many colors and my favorites are the dark, luminuous black pearls. Whether natural, cultured, or treated they complement every look and make a clear statement about the style of the wearer. Here are eight reasons to wear them.

8. Natural black pearls are much more rare, and therefore much more valuable than natural white pearls. Real pearls (of all colors) come from pearl oysters (salt or freshwater) and are most valuable when they occur by a happy accident, though, these days, most jewelry pearls are farmed. Black pearls are harder to farm, though, and so are less common.

7. The rich, lush color of black pearls is simply stunning. This is especially true of luminuous natural pearls, but is also the case for Akoya and other pearls that are treated to be black.

6. Black pearls go great with your little black dress. Sometimes understatement makes the loudest splash.

5. Black pearls complement every skin tone. These pearls accent the your look in a way that is specific to you and different from other pearls and gemstones.

4. Black pearls simply gleam in the light, radiant like you. The contrast white light reflecting off of dark pearls is simply beautiful.

3. Black pearls offer a subtle classiness that only those in the know will recognize. Black pearls are not as common as other pearl colors, but they are just as beautiful.

2. Black pearl earrings are great for everyday or formal wear. They go with everything but because they're pearls they create a classic, signature look. Be sure to get your pearl earrings with locking posts and earring backs so you don't lose them.

1. Pearls, like people, come in more than one color. And all of them are gorgeous, just like you!
