Quotes to Use on a Christmas Card

The following are eight special quotes ideal to include in or on a Christmas card this year:

1. "When I think about the holiday season, I think about you and everything we've been through and that is what makes this holiday season special."

I thought this would be a good one for couples, especially married couples. Sometimes we forget the bonds that tie us together. You know, those good times and bad times.

2. "Wishing you joy and happiness throughout the New Year."

For those folks who are looking for something general, this one is a nice basic comment you can put in your card and it can be used for friends and family.

3. "May God bless you this Christmas."

This quote is one that I see quite a bit and have used myself when I wanted something religious to say.

4."May your Christmas be as special as you are to me."

Once again this is a nice comment for couples, married and unmarried. It's a quick, right to the point type of comment that I've used on occasion. I've also used this quote for other holiday cards as well.

5."You are appreciated and loved very much."

This is something I wrote in one card to my wife. I felt that appreciation for what our spouses do has been forgotten in many aspects of marriage so I wanted to emphasize that.

6."Having a friend like you is like having a little holiday spirit all year long."

This is a comment you can put in cards you're sending to friends. It lets them know just how much they impact your life and the value of their friendship to you and your family.

7."In big ways, in small ways, in all ways, just thinking of you this merry season."

This comment is one that captures all aspects of time, recognizing everything from the smaller contributions, to the bigger ones that friends make in our lives each and every day.

8."Remembering you at Christmas time: Thoughts of you fill the air and always mean happy memories during Christmas time."

Away from home during the holidays--- It's one of those times where you're most vulnerable. It's a time that brings back every part of the year and that wanting to be home around family and friends. It's important to remember those who cannot come home for the holidays, especially our Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Soldiers who are serving overseas or throughout the U.S. defending freedom.
