Eight Steps to Self-Improvement

Keith Dailey
1. Find out what you really want out of life. Figure out what it is exactly that you enjoy doing and strictly stay with that thought until you have reach your best ability at it. Become whoever you want to be.

2. Figure out if you really need to make a change. By figuring this out, you will notice if you are already doing something that you are good at and enjoy. Perhaps you simply aren't focusing on an area in your life that you would like to enhance.

3. Find the bright side of life. With so many things happening in our lives, it may seem like there isn't even time or room to see the light at the end of the darkness. If there is a train at the end of this tunnel, go for a ride and see what it is that makes the world go round.

4. Find comfort in what you do. There are always two ways to decide things: the right way and the easy way. This applies to everything, even picking out clothes and shoes. It doesn't take a genius to see that you can be exceptional if you wish to be.

5. Do enough for yourself. Unhappiness is very dangerous when it comes in high doses, but if it comes in smaller amounts, it can actually help you do and see things that you never would have imagined if you were already happy.

6. If you are already happy, however, hold onto this happiness and become whoever you want to be with it.

7. You must believe that there is no such thing as too little or too much; it is more about how much you really need something.

8. Find out what motivates you. This is something you need to find on the path of self-discovery. There are a lot of things that could make anyone happy, but to find out which one is the most important may prove to be a tad bid difficult.
