There is but one way out
No matter what our statue
Of the end there is no doubt
The majesty and grandeur
That in life we may achieve
Are but fleeting moments filled with glory
As the game of life proceeds
We know not, when we enter
How near the end may be
We face the challenges we meet
Our path seems clear and free
It's we who choose to challenge
Everything we greet
Blinded by color and movement
It's a game in which we must compete
We charge head down through life
Yet the challenges we meet
Reveal no hint of the end to come
...of our eventual defeat
The most that we can hope for
Is the thrill of the fight
As we struggle to survive
The crowd roar with delight
But what I asked would happen
If the Bull refused to take a stand
If he just chose to sit there
And ignore the Matador's command
Alas 'twill never happen
We can't refuse the thrill of the fight
The excitement of the moment
The challenge to survive
For some of us the end is swift
For others, its not so
Stand your ground with your head held high
as the crowd yells....El Toro
