Eldorado Natural Spring Water Review: 'Pure & Simple' Bottled Water Delivery

Help the Environment and Enjoy Pure Spring Water in Your Home

Lori May
Eldorado Natural Spring Water is a bottled water delivery service offered in the greater Denver area by Eldorado Artesian Springs, Inc. out of Louisville, Colorado. I first encountered a representative for the company at the 24th Annual Holiday Food & Gift Festival in November, 2010, when I met "hydration consultant" Marcus Alford. He was offering a no risk, 30 day in-home trial; when I asked about the procedure should we decline after our 30 days, he explained that one of the Eldorado Natural Spring Water delivery trucks would gladly collect our equipment.

My husband and I are devoted bottled water purchasers, but we both had been concerned about the ecological repercussions of so many families being devoted on "purified," bottled H2O. With a no risk trial available, I couldn't resist sampling what Eldorado Natural Spring Water had to offer-by way of service, in addition to the liquid goods. His booth at the festival received constant traffic, and I watched as countless patrons stopped to enjoy a free sample of the refreshing water during their shopping. Alford was very generous with his time, patient with my endless questions, and rather convincing; truth be told, I'd decided to try the Eldorado Natural Spring Water service as soon as he said "free trial."

I was highly interested to see if this naturally occurring spring water, which I was impressed to learn isn't chemically treated, would be a good fit for my family.

The Eldorado Natural Spring Water Service

I arranged for the delivery of my water cooler and complimentary pair of 5 gallon bottles, and I was impressed by the courtesy of the lady who called to confirm my delivery time. The items arrived on time, and the gentleman distributed my electric dispenser and bottles in the kitchen promptly and politely.

My first surprise came when the delivery man informed me that I would "receive great discounts on case products with a one year Service Agreement," as the Eldorado Natural Spring Water indicates. My conversation with Alford hadn't included this detail, though arguably in the rush and crowd I neglected to inquire about a service agreement. Reluctantly I signed my contract, which committed me only after my complimentary 30 day trial; Eldorado Natural Spring Water is certainly fair about giving you plenty of time to decide if their service is worth it. I even received a phone call a week prior to my trial deadline, as a reminder that upon my next delivery I would be locked into the one year contract.

The Eldorado Natural Spring Water Merchandise

While it remains a debate in my household whether or not different bottled water brands all taste the same, I am convinced I am not the only pure water enthusiast who can "taste the difference." My ultimate enjoyment of the Eldorado Natural Spring Water itself played a huge role in whether or not I voted to keep the service into a one year contract; fortunately, I absolutely love the taste.

My electric dispenser cools the 5 gallon bottle, and I was impressed by how crisp and clean the water tastes. Certain companies add minerals to their "purified" water, which I find to alter the taste too dramatically. Compared to other bottled waters I've tasted, Eldorado Natural Spring Water really does seem like one of the "best-tasting waters in the world."

Eldorado Natural Spring Water is also available in individual bottle cases, 3 gallon plastic or glass jugs, as vitamin spring water and more. Visit the official website to discover all that this Colorado company offers; you can visit them on Facebook.

The Eldorado Natural Spring Water Verdict

Although a cost comparison would argue that purchasing huge, hulking 32-packs of bottled water at discount club stores is "cheaper," I must admit that the convenience of having natural spring water delivered to my doorstep by a friendly employee is very handy. Not to mention I have the added peace of mind of knowing I am not contributing further to the overwhelming amount of plastic used every year to manufacture those individual, 20oz water bottles. One of my first purchases after my equipment arrived was a reusable, metal water bottle-on Black Friday, no less-in a pretty red hue.

Ultimately, my family and I decided to keep our Eldorado Natural Spring Water service for the year, and enjoy spring water delivered right to our door. We received our electric dispenser, and enjoy two 5 gallon jugs each month for under $20 delivered; an additional 5 gallon jug, which I believe we will require in the future, will cost us just an additional $7.95 a month plus $2 delivery charge. I'm not a bottled water delivery service connoisseur, but those prices sure seem reasonable to me considering my family is drinking healthier, more Eco-friendly H2O.
