Election Day Incentives Just for Voting

Turning out to vote today could get more than just a good feeling, Many businesses are giving away free items just for voting. The businesses are trying to give voters added incentives to go to the polls, other than just doing one's civic duty. Some of the businesses giving out items follow: Starbucks is giving out free small coffee to anyone who says they have voted. Ben and Jerry's is giving away a free scoop of ice cream between 5 and 8pm. In Chicago, Eli's Cheesecake is handing out free slices of cheesecake to voters.

Some bars are giving out free beer, some restaurants are giving away free meals, and there is even an adult toy store that is giving out free accoutrement, there is even a different toy for male and female voters. These free adult toys are even named patriotically. The male version of the toys is called the Maverick, and the female freebie is called the Silver Bullet. Many of the businesses feel that this country needs a boost to make sure that people in the United States and exercise his or her right to vote.

Here is a list of the Businesses that are known to be giving items away for free today. Be sure to ask any local business frequented today if there is an incentive for voting in today's election. What is the worst they can say? No.

Babeland- in So-Ho, Carroll Gardens, and Lower East Side locations, will give men a free $20 adult toy called the 'Maverick,' and the women will receive a free $15 adult toy called the 'Silver Bullet.'

Ben and Jerry's- a free scoop of ice cream between 5 and 8pm.

California Taco- is giving away free tacos to those who vote.

Chattanooga Hot Dog Company- is giving out hot dogs to voters.

Chick-fil-A- restaurants- in NJ will give a free chicken sandwich.

French Connection- is giving a 15% discount off of all purchases today for voters.

Grandaisy Bakery- coffee is free for voters today.

Krispy Kreme Donuts- will give voters a star shaped donut, with red, white, and blue sprinkles on top if wearing an 'I Voted' sticker today.

Rock the Vote- will give away 8 MP3s to download if you pledge to vote at www.rockthevote.com/

Shane's Rib Shacks- are giving away an entire free meal, consisting of three chicken tenders, fries and a drink.

Starbucks Coffee- is giving away a free small coffee to anyone who says they have voted today.

Todd Conner's Pub- is giving out free beer to voters.

Trina Turk Boutiques- 20% discount on up to three items if wearing an 'I Voted' sticker today, www.trinaturk.com/
