I listened as he showed his support for the AIG bailout. His comments were in total contradiction to his comments just a couple of days before. Monday he said no bailouts and that the Economy is Fundamentally Strong, Wednesday he said he agreed with the bailout and Friday he said he didn't like it, but he had to agree. What?
How funny that the De-Regulator is now the Reformer Regulator! McCain has flip-flopped so many times in the last two weeks, I am dizzy. He can't make up his mind what policies he adheres to. Yet every single news conference or appearance is about blaming Obama. Yet not long ago, Barack had not been in Washington long enough. He stood right on stage and said Obama was in the middle of the game that is Washington. He said Obama was responsible for the financial crisis.
Yet he was one of the supporters of the de regulation bill years ago. Before Obama got to Washington....
He was going to fire the Director of the SEC. Not even knowing what he was talking about. Then he totally mis-spoke about what agency he was talking about. He didn't even know Chris Cox was already retiring in a couple of months. Then he said he "meant to say".....Is anyone counting the "I meant to says"?
Ok, now the Mortgage Financial Institution thing. MFI sounds like it would fit anything McCain would come up with. I am just not sure it stands for Mortgage Financial Institution.....M.....F......Idiot would probably be a better description of all of his plans....
When asked by Spanish reporters if he would meet with Spanish Leader Zapotero, he went totally off the deep end, talking about Latin America, and enemies and what he would do to people who would oppose us. Nothing to do with Spain. Even the reporter was confused. He didn't even know where Spain is or who there leader is. He lumped all Spanish countries together. Friend or Foe.... He kicked Spain right between the eyes and didn't even blink.
John McCain may have withstood torture and POW status, he may have been the greatest American that ever lived and he can stand up on any stage and talk junk.
However, his heart is not with the American people in this election. He is willing to jump the fence as many times as he needs to in order to agree with whatever the popular thing of the day is. He is doing whatever desperate act in order to win. He will portray Barack as a menacing black man who has horrible black friends and advisors. He will tell lie after lie that is proven to be lie on every analysis. Even the Republican leaders in Washington are cringing in their boots.
Now lets discuss Sarah Palin....She was in Cedar Rapids, Iowa...thought she was in Grand Rapids, Michigan...told the republican gatherers that a Palin/McCain ticket would fix America. She has already changed positions in the election. I heard a analyst say that she had been from the very beginning of her political career a person who always wanted the spotlight on her. I would be willing to venture that is a long time problem for her. She wouldn't have operated for so many years had she not been a person that craved the spotlight.
They were trying to spin the mis-step as ok. Oh, Cheney did the same thing when he was campaigning for George W. Bush. We have seen the result of that error. How much has Cheney messed up over the years?
She had a town hall where she told the audience to ask any question..She said ya'll can play "Stump the Candidate". Sounds good right? The only problem is the event was a timed thing. She waited until the last couple of minutes to tell the audience. Of course she didn't get many questions. The one question she got that was tough, she walked around till time was up and then left it hanging.
She isn't allowed to campaign on her own. She doesn't do interviews with just anybody. Why? Sean Hannity interviewed her. What a joke. He was so obviously star struck or just struck he just coddled her. She just walked in circles the entire interview.
She said she didn't listen to the Tina Fey SNL skit. She watched it but turned the sound down. Why? Didn't want to hear what other women thought?
Now, "Troopergate"......How can John McCain exercise his influence in this action. How can he make this stop? Is that legal for him to continue to intervene?
Why would he? The Original Maverick....The leader of change.....The Reformer.....What? Yet, he is covering up this investigation until he can hopefully get into office. My question is, If they are elected by some ridiculous coincidence, what happens to the investigation. If she is found to be guilty, do we have to spend money to impeach her? Can she be impeached?
It has been exposed that she has as mayor and governor used her influence to get her way, hire friends and family and has consulted her husband on official matters as a member of her staff. She has lied about the "Bridge to Nowhere" over and over.
One news station counted sixteen lies she had been caught in. John McCain has told so many, I am not sure they can keep a record.
This entire election with McCain/Palin or Palin/McCain has been a sequel to the Charlie Brown Christmas. You can see what's happening but every conversation sounds like WAH...WAH....WAH.....!
It is so unintelligible, it has become impossible to understand what the hell they are talking about. Sarah keeps telling us they are prepared to lead, prepared for foreign policy and every other problem in the country. Yet the plans they attempt to explain are so far out in left field, you can't decide if they have been drinking or if they really think we are that stupid.
I am afraid for America if the Republicans by some chance win. We are losing ground everyday, we are sitting on a whole stretch of quick sand and these people are digging with backhoes.
John McCain needs to sit down. Sarah Palin needs to go home. This whole circus is a huge pile of crap. It is sad that so many people would rather stick to party lines vs change America's direction. No matter how hard they try, this is a failed administration, before they ever get to Washington. Who is going to be running this show? Does the right hand know what the left hand will be doing? Is this administration going to be run by the old boys that McCain and Palin are spouting they will reform?
America this is crunch time. Are you losing your home or have lost your job? Have you had to live without any hope of retirement because of the mess we are in?
Republican or Democrat this election will determine the fate of this country. The wrong decision could mean we lose more than just our money. Time to register to vote and time to make decisions based on what is going to work for us, not what the government tells us we should be thinking.

The McCain/Palin growing trail of lies and attacks is reflective of the right-wing, fundamentalist Republican party base which has so divided America...hard to believe there are people out there who are totally willing to through away their children's future by voting for these two manipulators. Keep poundin' Rose.
