Electrifying Experience

The thunder

Ever louder

Cracks loudly

Ever closer

Followed by

Streaks of lightning

That briefly light up

The stormy night sky

The rain is pouring

Crashing heavily against

The window

Amidst this performance

Of nature at its

Strength

The beautiful

But deadly

It could take

Just one

Perfectly placed

Bolt of lightening

If he were stood

In the wrong place

At the wrong time

He might be caught

The epitaph may read

He was up there lit up

In light

It was an electrifying experience

    Yikes...I am terrified of lightening, but my husband loves it. He constantly tempts fate by going out in a storm! Nice read!
