Electronic Cigarette Review of the KR808D-1 Model Smokeless Cigarette

I recently decided to purchase an electronic cigarette, or e-cig, esmokes, smokeless cigarette, etc. as they are also known, for my wife and myself and I did a ton of research to figure out which one suited us best. There are many different makers, designs, and providers. There are literally hundreds of brands of electronic cigarettes. It all boils down to just a few different types though, some look like real cigarettes and some don't, some have separate atomizers and some don't.

Of the electric cigarettes that actually look similar to a real cigarette, there are basically 2 designs. The more common 3 piece design consists of a battery, a nicotine cartridge, and an atomizer. The newer 2 piece design consists of a battery as well but the atomizer is integrated into the nicotine cartridge and is disposable. Atomizers need replacing from time to time, so the built in atomizer was a good selling point for me, one less thing I'll have to buy.

So, after much research and thought I settled on the KR808D-1 model ecig, also known as the Vapor King, the Nebula, SmokeTip, and others. This model of electronic cigarette is a 2 piece design with disposable atomizers/cartridges. The cartridges are refillable up to maybe 5 times so it is easy to get good value out of this model. I really like it because it is no hassle and very easy to use, just like a cigarette. Here is my honest review of this amazing product.

This product works right out of the box, just charge the battery and use it. There is no setup, there is no fiddling around with it, you just screw the cartridge on to the battery and start puffing. I believe this to be the easiest to use of all the electronic cigarette designs I have seen on the market. For someone that doesn't want a hobby or a new toy, and just wants to replace their cigarettes with a better alternative, without any extra hassle, the KR808D-1 is perfect. When the cartridge is empty you can just toss it and screw on another of your choice, or you can refill it if you choose.

Each battery seems to last me about a day or so. I've heard they are supposed to last about 5 hours of constant use, but I have been getting a day or more out of them with moderate use. They stay strong throughout the day and don't seem to really drop off much until they are within about the last few minutes or so of use, then I do notice a performance drop off. They only take about 2 hours to charge so it is pretty easy to always have a fully charged battery if you have 2 of them. Really heavy smokers may want to have 3 batteries to rotate if you are not going to have a way to charge them right away. I chose the automatic battery type so it would be closer to puffing on real cigarettes but manual batteries with a button are also available.

The cartridges, or cartomizers as they are called with this model, are supposed to be equivalent to about 20 cigarettes. With the 3 piece designs, the carts seem to only be good for about 10 cigarettes, but with this cartomizer design, they really do last about a pack of regular cigarettes. This depends on how you use it of course but with my usage I have found it to be quite efficient. Each cartomizer lasts me a few days and since I can refill them several times, they last a good long time.

Vapor production on the KR808D-1 electronic cigarette is excellent for a smokeless cigarette of this size. You will get a little more vapor production from a bigger device with a more powerful battery or a device plugged directly into your computer but for a realistic looking electric cigarette the vapor production is very good. Vapor production does depend partly on the juice that is in the cartomizer but all flavors I have tried so far have produced pretty well. This looks like a cigarette, feels like a cigarette, and works like a cigarette. The vapor you inhale even feels like real smoke to a certain degree. It feels like smoke without the burned taste. This little device takes care of all of the cigarette cravings, the physical hand and mouth habit cravings, the nicotine cravings, the taste cravings, the physical sensation cravings, the after drinking smoke cravings, everything, and they are not subject to any smoking bans.

There are a variety of accessories available for the KR808D-1 electronic cigarette including cases, chargers, etc. One accessory I would urge anybody thinking about buying one of these to get is the USB charging case, or PCC (portable charging case). This looks just like a small cigarette case but it has a portable charger built into it. It holds one electronic cigarette battery and 2 cartomizers and is a must have accessory for my wife and I. You just plug the case into the USB port on your computer for about 4 hours to charge the on board battery. Then whenever you have a dead ecigarette battery you just simply open your case and place the battery in the charging area and the case will charge your battery for you in about 2 hours. The case has 2 indicator lights to let you know when the case is fully charged, and when the electronic cigarette battery is fully charged. The PCC can charge your esmokes batteries up to 5 times on a single charge so it is great for going out on the town, to parties, or to work when you don't want to be caught without a fully charged battery.

My honest opinion of the KR808D-1 electronic cigarette is that it is quite possibly the best model on the market today for the average smoker looking for alternative cigarettes online. It is virtually hassle free, very consistent in vapor production as well as reliability, and much cheaper in the long run than traditional tobacco cigarettes and a lot of other electronic cigarette models. It contains no known carcinogens, and tastes great. I give it 2 thumbs up for sure. The resources area contains a link to more information.
