E.L.F. Bath and Body Products Review

An Affordable Alternative to Bath and Body Works

Alexis Valentine
Are you a fan of Bath and Body Works? Love the products but the prices are a strain on your bath and body care budget? Well I have a solution. E.L.F. cosmetics carries a bath and body line that rivals that of Bath and Body Works for less than half the price. I don't generally buy luxury bath and body products because I'm not really that type of girl. Then one day I walked into a Bath and Body Works store to pick up some bubble bath and ended up coming out with much more. I loved the products. Everything smelled and worked wonderfully but the cost of it all set my shopping budget back a couple of weeks. So when I found out E.L.F. cosmetics had a bath and body line I couldn't have placed my order any faster. The following are my pros and cons of E.L.F's bath and body products.

What I liked about E.L.F's bath and body products was that they carry a variety of items, they have bath gel, hand soap, hand cream, body lotion, body butter and hand sanitizers. All of these products are available in five different scents, peony petal, cucumber melon, lavender blossom, pineapple mango and vanilla coconut. The cucumber melon and lavender blossom were my favorites. I chose E.L.F. products because I knew that none of their products were tested on animals. I also liked that their products are very budget friendly. Their products are about the same size as Bath and Body Works products, maybe smaller by a few ounces but the prices are less than half of Bath and Body Works'.

Since I've tried bath and body products from both Bath and Body Works and E.L.F. I was able to compare the quality. I love both brands but E.L.F. wins in my book because it offers just as good products for much less. The only thing Bath and Body Works has over E.L.F. is that they offer more bath products in more scents, which leads me to the cons of E.L.F's bath and body products.

I would've liked it more if E.L.F. had more scents to choose from, and something more exotic. These products are nice but I found them too hard to find in stores, pretty much like most of E.L.F's products. I also found that the lotion didn't last as long as I would've liked it to. It doesn't last as long as many of my moisturizing lotions.

Overall though I thought that E.L.F cosmetics offered nice bath and body products. I would definitely buy more but I'd probably stay away from their lotions until they've improved on the formula. I would recommend these products for those on a budget.
