E.L.F Clarifying Pressed Powder Review

Finding the right pressed powder can be a difficult task. You have to consider if it's right for you, do you have skin allergies, what's your shade, will it clog your pores? The questions goes on. Then there's the issue of price. Often times the best stuff comes with a hefty price but that's not always the case and many women make that mistake. Expensive doesn't always mean quality. I won't claim to have found the perfect pressed powder but E.L.F's Clarifying Pressed powder is a darn good one in my opinion, and you probably wouldn't believe how much I paid for it.

I don't generally wear a lot of makeup the times I actually do wear makeup but I tried this product on a whim just to see how well it would work, here's what I liked about it. I liked that E.L.F's Clarifying pressed powder didn't irritate my skin and it gave me a flawless finish. I didn't look cakey or too made up. E.L.F's Clarifying pressed powder is great especially if you're on a tight budget, and considering the state of the economy I don't know who isn't. This product sells for just a dollar. The best part, at least in my opinion, is that it wasn't tested on animals. For being just a dollar and with my past experience with E.L.F. products I was surprised to find that their Clarifying pressed powder was actually a decent size compact. I also liked that it was very light on my skin, didn't weigh it down, provided good coverage and blended well. I found that it also controlled shine and was easy to take off with soap and water. This product is available in seven shades too.

There was some cons to E.L.F's Clarifying pressed powder too. My biggest issue with this product, and most of E.L.F's product in general is that it's often hard for me to find in stores. I wouldn't mind ordering off of their website if their shipping costs wasn't $7, but it is. It also doesn't come with a mirror like most powder compacts. The other con is that this product only has one dark tone, so for those with darker skin tone there won't be anything for you.

Despite its few cons I still liked this product and would purchase it again. It's a good product for the price and I would recommend it as long as you don't have dark skin tones. For the darker complexion ladies I would suggest checking their website frequently because E.L.F. is always coming out with new products and improving on their old.
