E.L.F. Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder Review

Bronzers and self tanners have become all the rage ever since being tanned and healthy looking has become fashionable. Tanning beds aren't the safest way to get an all over tan and using a self tanner on your face can be messy, not to mention risky. No one wants to look orange and streaky. The best way to getting a healthy glow all year round is to use a bronzer. Every brand of makeup offers some sort of bronzer but choosing the right one for your skin takes trial and error. Over the years I've tried several bronzers, all by different brands and one of my favorite is E.L.F's Healthy Glow Bronzing powder.

What I liked about E.L.F's Healthy Glow Bronzing powder is that it's definitely affordable at just one dollar. Try finding a bronzer for just a dollar by another brand, I doubt you'll be able to. What I really liked about this product is that I know it wasn't tested on animals because E.L.F. is a cruelty-free cosmetic brand that also donates a portion of his proceeds to PETA. E.L.F's Healthy Glow bronzing powder comes in four shades to choose from, depending on your desired look. It's very pigmented so a lot goes a long way. I love the silky texture to it, it feels nice on my skin and goes on so smoothly. My favorite is probably the Sun Kissed one because I can get a natural looking glow with it. The compact is a decent size too, something I was surprised with considering how a lot of E.L.F's products tend to be on the small size. It's about the size of a pressed powder compact. I also find that I can use my bronzer as a neutral eye shadow when I want to create a natural, every day look.

There's really only a few cons that I can think of for E.L.F's Healthy Glow bronzing powder. The first con is that this compact doesn't come with a brush, but E.L.F. does sell professional brushes for just a dollar which is still considerably less expensive than drug store bronzers. The other thing is that this compact doesn't come with a mirror. I guess because it comes in a pressed powder compact I just expected it to come with a mirror too.

Overall I thought that E.L.F's Healthy Glow bronzing powder is a great product. I love the way it looks and feels on my face and would definitely purchase it again. I would recommend this bronzer to anyone that loves bronzers or for those suffering from pale skin, especially during winter.
