I've heard and read so many good reviews about E.L.F's mineral blushes that I had to try it out for myself so I ordered a couple of them in different shades. What I liked about this mineral blush is that it goes on nice and smooth. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey on my skin. I find that it's pretty long lasting too. Most times that I have used it I didn't have to reapply. It's also easy to wash off with makeup remover. I've worn some blushes that cling to my skin and I'd have to use a cleanser to get the remainder of it off. What I really liked about E.L.F's mineral blush is that I know this product is cruelty-free, not to mention very affordable. Each blush only costs me $5 and yes, it might sound a tad pricier than many drugstore brands but you have to remember that it's a mineral blush. E.L.F's mineral blush was designed and meant to be used just like Bare Mineral products which makes it very easy to use without wasting too much product. I'd also like to point that these blushes are very pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way. The other thing I like about this mineral blush is that the ingredients are 100 percent mineral based. The compact size and packaging means it's easy to pack and mess free. I no longer have to worry that my blush will accidentally open up and make a mess in my purse when it's being tousled around.
Moving on to the cons to E.L.F's mineral blush. Honestly, I really can't think of anything negative to this blush other than it's a pain to try to find in stores. I've yet to find it sold in stores even now that E.L.F. products are sold in Target stores. Ordering products online normally isn't an issue for me except that E.L.F's shipping tends to take long and their shipping fee is close to $7. The other thing is that because it's packaged in a round, shifter container like Bare Minerals it doesn't come with a brush which means you'll have get blush brush if you don't already have one.
Shipping aside, I thought that E.L.F's mineral blush was a great blush. I absolutely loved it and it's definitely one of my top five blushes to have. I would buy this product again and recommend it to anyone looking for a good, affordable mineral blush.
