There were several things that I liked about E.L.F's mineral eyeshadow. The first was definitely the price, each shadow only costs me $3. I bet you can't find $3 eyeshadows by Bare Minerals. The other thing I really liked about this product was that it's cruelty-free. I don't believe it's ethical to test cosmetics on animals and if I know for a fact that a brand of makeup was tested on animals I avoid it completely. E.L.F's mineral eyeshadows were designed to look and work just like Bare Minerals so they come in a round, plastic sift container. I find the product easy to use, mess free and long lasting. I absolutely love all the colors that E.L.F. offers, all twenty of them. E.L.F's mineral eyeshadows are very pigmented , so a little goes a long way. I also find that this mineral eyeshadow blends very well. I liked that this product contains vitamins A and B, and that the ingredients are 100 percent mineral based. The best part is that E.L.F's mineral eyeshadows are now sold in Target stores.
Moving on to the cons to this mineral eyeshadow. I find that it doesn't crease or fade heavily but it still does. Of course that could be due to my eyeshadow primer. I believe with a good eyeshadow primer that it's less likly to fade as quickly or crease. At present, although Target now sells E.L.F's mineral eyeshadows they're not yet sold individually or offer the full color selection.
Overall though I thought that E.L.F. offers a great selection of mineral eyeshadows. It's not the best and it's not perfect but it's a pretty good mineral eyeshadow that comes in rich colors and is affordable. When you're on a tight budget there's not a whole lot of room to complain. I think that E.L.F's mineral eyeshadows are a great deal, just invest in a quality eyeshadow primer.
