E.L.F. Mineral Lip Gloss Review

Every girl has a favorite makeup product, whether she wears makeup on a daily basis or once in a blue moon. I like to try out different products but in reality I rarely wear makeup. I'm more of a skin care type person, however, my guilty pleasures are mascaras and lip glosses. I can never get enough of those items. When I found out that my favorite cosmetic brand, E.L.F., came out with a new lip gloss under their mineral line I couldn't resist and had to try them out for myself.

I bought several of E.L.F's mineral lip glosses in different shades and absolutely adore them all. The colors are gorgeous and the lip glosses were easy to apply. It's one of those lip glosses that uses an applicator to apply. My least favorite lip glosses are the ones in a squeeze tube. I thought that the lip glosses I got had good pigmentation and were very close to true to color. I find that they were surprisingly long lasting for a lip gloss. I'm not talking lip stain or lipstick long lasting but I did noticed that I didn't have to reapply my lip gloss as often as I normally do with other lip glosses. It can definitely be worn alone or over lipstick. I really liked that this product is a cruelty-free product, and for as great as it is it only costs me $3 a tube. The best part is that E.L.F's mineral lip glosses contains vitamins A and E, and the ingredients are 100 percent mineral based. Oh, did I mention it comes in eight to-die-for colors?

Enough with the positives, lets talk about some negative aspects to this lip gloss. Oh wait, I don't think there is anything bad about E.L.F's mineral lip glosses. My only issue with this product is that I have to order it off of their website because I can't seem to find it in stores. The other thing is that although I love the chic look and compact size, great for clutches by the way, it's a very small tube of lip gloss which ultimately means little product.

All in all though I still love E.L.F's mineral lip gloss, even if it's tiny compared to many of my other lip glosses. I love this product so much that I would definitely purchase it again, even with the annoying shipping fee, and I would also recommend it.
