What I liked about E.L.F's mineral lipstick is that it goes on smoothly and evenly. I found it to be very moisturizing and nourishing. I don't typically like to wear lipsticks because they seep into my lips and dry them out, but this mineral lipstick didn't do that. Packaging isn't a big deal but I did like that it came in a black tube. It's not flashy, just simple and chic. I found the lipsticks to be true to color, at least the ones that I bought anyway. When I say true to color I mean what they look like in person, not on the computer screen. I also didn't notice any strange cosmetic taste to it which is always a good thing in my book. I thought that E.L.F's mineral lipstick was fairly affordable at $5 a piece, but what I really liked about this product is that I know it wasn't tested on animals. The other great thing about this mineral lipstick is that the ingredients are 100 percent mineral based. There are no parabens, preservatives or chemical dyes in these lipsticks. Another great thing about E.L.F's mineral lipstick is that it comes in sixteen rich colors.
As for the cons to this lipstick, well, there are only a few that I could think of. The first being that it's an E.L.F. product which means it's hard to find in stores, which in turn means the best way to get this product is to order it off of their website and deal with the $7 shipping fee. The other problem is that I found the lipstick to wear off easily. It's not as bad as a lip gloss but I did noticed that it doesn't stay on as long as a lot of lipsticks; maybe it has something to do with the moisturizing part.
Would I buy E.L.F's mineral lipstick again? That's hard to answer. I probably would purchase it again if they were having a sale on it, but otherwise I doubt I will. I really liked E.L.F's mineral lipstick but the shipping fee, price and the fact that it doesn't stay on too long makes it not worth it.
