E.L.F. Studio Line Blush and Bronze Compact Review

Compared to Nars

If you're a woman who enjoys cosmetics, or knows anyone who does, or have ever been into a Sephora store then chances are you've heard of Nars blush and bronzer dual. I've been told it's suppose to be a great product and the Orgasm blush is to-die-for. If you've ever heard of Nars you'll know how much their products run for, yes, very pricey. There is an affordable alternative from E.L.F. cosmetics under their Studio line called their blush and bronze compact. It's designed much like Nars and comes with a blush and bronzer. I've been told it's comparable to Nars' version but I can't comment on that because I've never tried it, I can only give feedbacks on E.L.F's Studio blush and bronze compact.

There are several things that I liked about E.L.F's Studio blush and bronzer compact. I liked that it's very affordable at just $3, and I pretty much get two products in one, which makes it an even better deal. I liked that it went on smoothly and evenly, both the blush and bronzer. Both products are light and doesn't weight down my skin. In fact I can wear it all day and not feel it at all. I found both products to be fairly long lasting too, usually lasting for half the day without face primer. I loved the silky texture of E.LF's Studio blush and bronzer dual, it feels soft on my skin and doesn't cause any irritation or dryness.

As much as I liked this compact there were a few things that I thought could've made it better. The first thing was that it didn't come with an applicator of any kind, so if you don't already have a blush brush it's best to get one before buying this product. On the plus side, E.L.F. does offer some nice brushes for affordable prices. Of course the lack of brush means I have to carry a brush with me if I plan on carrying this compact around in my purse. I also found the blush too pink to be compared to Nars Orgasm blush. The other thing is that currently E.L.F. only offers one set of blush and bronzer compact. I would've liked it if there were other blush shades to choose from. I'm also not sure how well the bronzer would work on darker complexions.

Despite some of the flaws to E.L.F's Studio blush and bronzer compact I still really liked it. I'd definitely consider purchasing this product again when I run out, and I would recommend this product for those that likes Nars' blush and bronzer dual. Just don't expect the blush to be exactly like Nars' Orgasm.
