Blush is a basic necessity to any makeup kit even if you're a minimalist who doesn't wear much or any makeup. Blush is a product that you'll want to have around when you need to liven up your pale or sickly complexion, just make sure to use a color that compliments your complexion. I don't wear a whole lot of makeup in general but blushes are what I like to sweep on when I'm in a hurry and can't be bothered to put anything else on. It instantly adds a nice, healthy glow to my skin. I've tried all sorts of blushes by many brands, and a recent one that I've tried was E.L.F's Studio blush. It's a new E.L.F. product under their Studio line. I'm a fan of their Studio line products so I couldn't resist trying this blush out.

There are several things that I liked about E.L.F's Studio blush, the first thing is the price. E.L.F. is known for their one dollar products and although their Studio line costs more it's still very affordable compared to many drug store brands. E.L.F's Studio blush only costs $3 each. I also liked that because it's an E.L.F. product I know that this blush is a cruelty-free product. I found this blush to be long lasting, usually lasting for up to six hours without a face primer. This blush comes in six colors all of which are very pigmented so a little goes a long way. What I really liked about this product is that it doesn't irritate my skin. I have sensitive skin and using something that's even slightly harsh will either dry out my skin or make the area itchy.

The only downside to E.L.F's Studio blush that I could think of is that it doesn't come with an applicator of any kind, not even one of those generic blush brushes that come in a compact. So if you don't already have a blush brush I'd recommend getting one before buying this product. E.L.F. has some great brushes that are very affordable.

Overall I really liked this blush and would definitely buy it again. I love the colors that are offered and the pigmentation is great. It's a good size blush compact, and because it's so pigmented I can see it lasting me quite a long time. I highly recommend trying out E.L.F's Studio blush, it's a quality product for a good price.
