What I liked about this E.L.F. product was that it looked nice. I know the packaging doesn't matter to some people if the product is great but I'd prefer to have both. I can deal with tacky packaging if the product is great but if it's big, bulky and cumbersome to carry around or pack then I'd rather just find another brand. Aside from the nice, simple and chic packaging, I really liked the price. E.L.F's Studio Complexion Perfection costs only $3, a price that's hard to beat by even drug store brands. I found that it did exactly what it was designed to do and that's to give me sheer coverage and balance my complexion by minimizing any redness, yellowness and dark or blue areas. I found that it also does a good job of absorbing excess oils on my skin and keeps my face from looking oily, but at the same time it doesn't dry out my skin. I liked that E.L.F's Studio Complexion Perfection lasted fairly long too. It would stay on my face for at least six hours before I would have to do any touch ups. The best part is that I've never had any problems with it skin wise. From time to time my skin would react badly to certain products no matter how gentle it claims to be, or it would work fine for a while and then start to irritate my skin over time. This product didn't do any of that. E.L.F's Studio Complexion Perfection has worked as well for me as the first time I started using it.
As for the negative aspects to this E.L.F. product, well, I can't think of anything unless you count having to order it off of their website. So far I've yet to be able to find this product in stores anywhere. The shipping fee is a pain and the wait for E.L.F. products vary, but the fastest I've ever gotten my products delivered was a week after placing my order. It's not too long but it's still longer than some of the other places I shop with online.
My overall impression of E.L.F's Studio Complexion Perfection compact is that it's definitely a great product. It's not a must-have but it does come in handy if you do a lot of traveling because it will reduce the number of products you'll have to pack and unpack.
