What I liked about E.L.F's Studio eye transformer is that it came in a chic portable compact, great for people like me who tend to travel a lot. I like cosmetic products that are multifunctional to save me time, money and packing space, and E.L.F's eye transformer is definitely one of those products. I liked that it came with a little brush so I could carry it in my purse at all times in case I ever need it, and not have to think about packing a brush separately. I also liked that it didn't feel heavy despite it's creamy texture. It's easy to apply, either use the brush or your ring finger. It goes on smoothly and evenly as well. It's also easy to take off, there's no scrubbing or tugging necessary. E.L.F's Studio eye transformer comes with four shades and all four are fairly pigmented for being what it is. I mean, they're not exactly dark colors to begin with.
I liked that I can wear it alone or as a base, and like the name implies it goes really well with other eyeshadows to add a little oomph, or to simply had some shimmer to your matte eyeshadows. I found that it blended well too, and best of all it's only $3.
There were some negative points to E.L.F's Studio eye transformer too. The first thing I noticed was that it does tend to crease after a few hours, as well as fade. I would suggest using a good eyeshadow primer with this product. I can't promise that it will stop it completely but it would most likely reduce the creasing and prolong the fading.
Overall, I thought that E.L.F's Studio eye transformer was a decent product, nothing special though. I wouldn't consider it a must-have product and probably won't be purchasing it again. I thought it was nifty but nothing so exceptional that I had to have.
