E.L.F. Studio Line Eyebrow Lifter and Filler Review

Worst Eyebrow Pencil Ever

I think most women have gone down this road before, it's a road that just about every woman with sparse and thinning eyebrows have to take, the journey to finding the perfect eyebrow product. Women can have thin eyebrows for a number of reasons, it could be due to stress, over plucking or genetics. My problem was genetics. I've spent several years trying out all sorts of eyebrow products to fill in my sparse eyebrows like gels, mascaras, pencils and powders. I've tried these products in different brands just to see if maybe there would be a difference, and in some cases there were. One eyebrow product I tried was E.L.F's Studio line's eyebrow lifter and filler.

What I liked about this E.L.F. eyebrow product was that it went on fairly smoothly. There were no clumping for me. It's definitely an easy product to use and apply, pencil products don't usually get too complicated. I found it easy to remove as well with soap and water. I thought the pigmentation was very good too. What I really liked about E.L.F's Studio eyebrow lifter and filler pencil is that it's a two in one product, both for just $3. This eyebrow pencil also comes in three shades. The lighter, "lifter" side of the pencil is used for highlighted and serves to enhance the shape of your eyebrows. I actually liked the lifter part because it worked well with my eyebrows. The filler side is the darker shade that's meant to shade in your eyebrows just like any other eyebrow pencil.

There were some major negatives to E.L.F's Studio eyebrow lifter and filler pencil. I've never really been a fan of eyebrow pencils because they don't usually work well for me. I didn't like this pencil because it just felt heavy and looked heavy too. My eyebrows never looked natural when I used this product, or any pencil product no matter how little I apply. I also found that it didn't stay on very well and rubbed off too easily. It would be embarrassing if I had touched and rubbed my eyebrows without knowing, and found that I had smeared my eyebrows.

Needless to say it's a messy product and I wouldn't buy it again. I would highly recommend not bothering with this product. I don't care how affordable a product is if it doesn't do the job it was designed to do, and doesn't do it well then there's really no point in wasting money on it.
