E.L.F. Studio Line Eyeliner and Shadow Stick Review

Nifty Product for the Busy Lady

Alexis Valentine
There are two types of women when it comes to makeup, the kind that needs about an hour to prep and apply a full face of makeup, basically they're putting on their face, then there are those women that wear very little makeup either because they can't be bothered to fuss much or just plain too busy. I'm the latter. It's not that I'm lazy, okay, maybe it is because I'm slightly lazy in that department. If there's a product that will save me time on days I get up the motivation to actually wear makeup I would try it. One product that I really liked was E.L.F's Studio line eyeliner and shadow stick.

I really liked this product because it's one of those two in one products. I love multi-functional products because it means I have less products to carry around or pack when I'm traveling, which is a definite plus for me because I don't have a lot of room for much makeup in my purses or clutches. I love that it's super easy to apply, both sides of this product is used as is. No need for brushes just rub on the eye shadow side to your eye lids, flip it over and apply the eyeliner. Quick and simple, no fuss, no mess. This eyeliner and shadow dual comes in four sets of color and all sets are very good, very pigmented colors. I love how smoothly both the eye shadow and eyeliner goes on. I found E.L.F's Studio eyeliner and shadow stick dual to be fairly long lasting too, not to mention very affordable at just $3. I really liked that both sides of this product is a twist-up so there's no sharpening required.

As much as I love this E.L.F. product it's not without it's faults. There isn't a lot of negative aspects to this eyeliner shadow stick dual but there are a few which could be considered a big problem for some women. The first thing I noticed about this product is that the eye shadow tends to smudge and crease over time, usually just after a few hours of wear. It smudges and creases even quicker if you have oily eyelids, or if it's humid outside. The eyeliner side doesn't smudge though, as far as I've been able to tell, unless you want to smudge it to get a smoky look then yes.

Despite the smudging and creasing I found that I really liked E.L.F's Studio eyeliner and shadow stick dual. I would most likely purchase it again but probably use a better quality eye shadow primer with it. It's a handy product to have around and I would recommend it, especially if you're a very low maintenance, busy person.
