E.L.F. Studio Line Lip Primer and Plumper Review

Good Primer but so so Plumper

It was just a year and a half ago that I learned about makeup, I mean really learned to apply makeup like a pro, and it was less than a year ago did I learn about primers and the importance of primers. Up until a year ago I had no idea primers even existed and then I found out there were different types of primers, for your eyelids, face and lips. I was skeptical at first as to whether or not primers would really make a difference on how long my makeup would lasts but I tried them out anyway. One product that I tried out was E.L.F's Studio line lip primer and plumper.

I really liked this product for several reasons, the first being that it's a two in one product. I love two in one products because it means it's one less thing I have to carry around with me, or remember to pack when traveling. I love the convenient, sleek tube. It's small enough that I can carry it around in my clutch or stick into my pocket. I found the lip primer to go on very smoothly and evenly, no clumping at all. The plumper side works fairly well too, I was surprised about that. I liked that it was also moisturizing. I can't stand lip products that dry out my lips and sink into the crevices of my lips. E.L.F's Studio lip primer and plumper is definitely an easy product to use, there are no added instruments needed, just rub on and you're done.

I didn't notice any bad tastes with this product with either the primer or plumper side. For working as well as it does it only costs $3. I really liked the primer side because it kept my lipsticks staying on longer without smudging. The plumper side had a nice cinnamon scent to it too.

The only down side to E.L.F's Studio lip primer and plumper that I could think of was that the plumper side didn't last very long. After a few hours it wore off, and even though it does work as a plumper don't expect anything dramatic.

Overall I thought that E.L.F's Studio primer and plumper dual was a good product, maybe not great but definitely worth the $3. I'm not a fan of the plumper side, but then again I don't have thin lips either. I would mostly buy this product again just for the primer side. I would recommend giving this product a try.
