That being said, I have to honestly say that Elin Nordegren is one of the only jilted ex-wives I have ever seen that doesn't appear to be all about money. Sure, I am positive that she wanted to ensure that her rights were protected, and that she got what she was legally entitled to - but I don't think she wanted to stick it to Tiger and take all his money.
Elin has even said she wants to become a counselor, and help "poor people" get through tough times. She will definitely be able to empathize with children of divorce after being a child of divorce herself, and also after what she went through with Tiger.
The latest news surrounding the Swedish former model places her in a prestigious category. She recently was reported to be the most profitable cover story on People Magazine.
Yes, that's right - she even beat Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who held the title before her.
Now, in defense of Brangelina their issue where they debuted their twins did sell more copies. However, People had to pay the magazine a whopping $12 million for the photos and the interview.
Elin gave the interview to People FOR FREE, and People knew that her issue would be a sellout so they raised the cover price to $4.49 and capitalized on the rare instance of a free interview.
Now why on earth would Elin Nordegren give the interview for free? Chances are, as a term of the divorce settlement, she can't make money telling her side of the story for her marriage to Tiger Woods. There's no official report that states this as fact, as it is my personal opinion in the matter.
In addition to the People interview, Elin has been offered several endorsement deals according to USA Today.
Personally, I would love to see Elin Nordegren on a season of Dancing with the Stars. I think she would make a fabulous addition to the cast. However, I think she's going to retire quietly out of the spotlight for the time being.

Post a CommentI've also read reports that a request to a have a 'six figure' amount donated directly to charity was made as part of her agreement to do the interview. IF she was about self promotion and money she would have made sure this fact was made public and or part of of the interview itself. She comes from a wealthy, highly educated, high profile, family in her native country and could publicly capitalized much more on her role as his wife during thier marriage like many do but she didnt. In the end she chose self respect for her and her kids. Period.
The woman gets a reported 100 million for six years of marriage and she is not about the money.

I read that the money that Elin was to receive from People’s interview was donated directly to several children's organizations!!!!Elin is a class act through and through. Elin seems to have found her life purpose after having gone through fire and she will have a happy and fulfilling future helping children in need!!! God bless Elin and her children!!!!
You obviously absorbed nothing from all the articles written about Elin Woods - she would never do something for money - she has too much character. And to suggest her being on Dancing with the Stars, is ludicrous.
